Spamalot

"I'm not dead yet"
"and your father smells of elderberries"
"brave, brave Sir Robin"
"You're using coconuts! "
"Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony."
"It's just a flesh wound."
"RUN AWAY"

They are all there, and more.

We went (my husband, my mother, my sister, her husband, and me) on August 9 in Toronto. Left the children all home alone :)

It was good, not great, but good. Worth the almost $100/ticket?? maybe :)

The family (at least the mother and daughter anyway) in the row in front thought it was hilarious. Laughing so hard they were bouncing in their seats. Clapping madly at everthing. It was a little distracting trying to see around the bobbing heads and trying to figure out if this was the first Monty Python they had ever seen. Because if you have seen the movies and TV series (over and over) and can already quote the dialogue, the play is interesting in its new spin on an old theme, but not bouncingly hilarious. IMHO
