I have now officially stayed in the most disgusting hotel room in my life. Rodeway Inn in Tacoma Washington. Booked by MPOW corporate travel department.
I should have left when the check-in was through a window in the parking lot.
I should have left when I learned there were no elevators and my luggage is heavy and I was on the 2nd floor.
I should have left when I found the empty box for a man's sex toy in the dresser drawer (ok, I should not have opened the drawer).
I was glad I had slippers 'cause I did not want my bare feet to touch carpet or floor.
No remote for the TV. No clock. No alarm. And the phone looked too gross to touch to call for a wakeup call--if the service was even offered.
I slept in my clothes. I will be washing my clothes and slippers at my new hotel tonight.
I slept about 5 hours then left before 6 am.
One good thing... the shower did not have a water-saver shower head. Great shower! Guess their guests need to wash up before they leave...
